A Little of Everything

I am forever telling Linda that she needs to park between the lines, not on the line!!

This is a cabinet that reminds Linda of her grandmother. Yes, that is Bad Boy sleeping on the bottom shelf.

And this is SweetCat sleeping by the fireplace. She is our oldest cat, been with us 18 years.
And this is Miss Lucy, who really thinks she is a person. She is the one we adopted when she was one day old. And she thinks she is just as sweet as the candies on the table.

A typical sidewalk in downtown Augusta on Broad Street. People sit out on the sidewalk. Notice the big crack across my windshield. In fact you can see the dot where a rock hit it.

Here I am approaching the tall (tallest) Lamar Building which is next to the News Building where I pick up a gentleman almost every day. He will be retiring end of this month and I will not have the frequent opportunity to drive downtown on my job. Notice the tops of the cars parked almost below street level in the median area. And as the sign says, it is free. There is not one iota parking meter in the county.

Here is one of several unique railroad crossings in the county. Got this shot of the train approaching the street. One thing for sure, if the train is very close and you are driving down this street approaching the tracks, you might see a big fricking train moving along side your car and getting friendlier and friendlier!

Here is Mr. Puffy. Needless to say, we think the name fits the bill.

A shot of Augusta skyline as I was driving on the bypass.

Yes, they have beautiful sunsets here. Remember I took so many sunset pictures in North Carolina?

We have been in Augusta over a year now and this is the first rainbow I have seen. In fact I can not recall when was the last time I saw a rainbow. It has been so dry not only here but was dry in North Carolina the two years we were there.

This rain was one of only about three that I can recall since being in Augusta.

We got this at a thrift store.

Here it is showing the colors.

Another sleeping cat. Mr. Puffy.

Here is Paul at a place where they sell firewood. He and Abby and April came up for Thanksgiving.

Here is another view of the firewood place.

This is Cappy, who came up with the family from Florida. He thought he was in absolute heaven with 20 cats to tease and play with. At first he always bowed up his back and puff out his hairs and walk sideways when meeting a new cat for the first time. Then he hopped on them to play. This shocked quite a few of our older cats as no one has ever done that to them before.

Abby and Paul got these flowers for Mom.

Here is April, our baby granddaughter.

Mr. Puffy again.

Here is that pond again just about dried up. I was able to stand on the bottom to take this shot.

One of the boulevards in town that I frequent on my job. Colors were beautiful here.

Here is a shot of a tree covered in yellow gold leaves.

I thought someone did an excellent job on this painting of the American Flag upon a fence.

Another sunset.

Yes, Virginia, there is a Santa Clause way up there in that bucket with the linemen.
