I thought this brick building was kinda interesting in that it is shaped like a triangle. It is along the Augusta Canal Trail that goes into the city.
I saw a crack in the door of this building and thought while I can not see anything inside but total darkness, I used my flash to see what might come from the picture. Here it is with it brighten up considerably:
This is my artistic picture of the day. In the missing glass pane portion is a duct outlet with a bird nest sitting just inside the opening:
I walked by an over growth of bushes near where the homeless kitchen is located and saw where the homeless make their "home":
This the the former Sacred Hearts church that is now used for community events from concerts to ballet shows. Its sister church was destroyed in the Galveston Hurricane of 1900. This was taken from under neath the Calhoun Expressway overpass.
I have always been fascinated with under bridge structures especially how that look in pictures. This one is the Calhoun Expressway crossing over 13th Street. The noon sun was directly overhead and made that interesting line of light across the roads:

The view here is where a lot of homeless live and they have a city supplied portajohn.
