Pictures from Friday June 01, 2007

This will be another one of those blogs with pictures that will bore you but we are still feeling like we are on vacation here in Augusta.
Yesterday our landlord came by and told us that he is closing on a house over few blocks from us but it is up on the hill. He said he will come by this afternoon to show us where the house is and let us look inside. I went over on the street and drove up the hill and below is a picture I took from my pickup showing the top of the hill part. Lots of trees.

The following four pictures is a road out in the county that gives me the feeling of being in the Smokies:

I was waiting for the lights here and noticed this in my side view mirror and took this picture from the driver's seat:

At one of my client pickup points, I saw this big pine tree and had to take a picture of the little oak sprout coming out of the pine tree!

The other side of the pine tree, another sprout:

Yeah, this is another one of the big International Paper mill that I pass by on my drives to pick up clients:

Another endless views in this county:

Here is part of the Augusta Canal system and this part may be the third level they call it and goes through the industrial part of town on its way to the Savannah River:

Here I am parked at a "pit stop" out in the country to get rid of the morning coffee:
