One to Thirteen

This morning I was going to put in 1 picture to at least do that much each day but I got 13 in! Be sure to click on any photo to see the original larger version.

Early yesterday morning I drove the county van down to the maintainence grounds to water down the van and clean off bugs stuck to the front. The wash stand is next to the state prison buses that are used to take prisoners out to do road work. The upper picture is one view of the prison which is on a high rise.

More views of the hills this time with morning haze.

I am always fascinated with views of railroad tracks and this one is no exception. Here I had stopped on the tracks, opened the van door, and got this shot. The tracks actually go up an incline and you can just see the opening where it comes out on Tobacco Road there.

This is a view of the old auto raceway that they are eventually going to convert back to its original state and then be used for hiking or biking. Here I am standing on one of the high embankments for a big curve that was here.

Here was where the track split and the left one verged into the pit stop area and the right one kept going on the main course.

While waiting for my usual pickup in downtown Augusta, I just had to get this shot from my driver's window looking almost straight up.

Some interesting people in town.

Lucy can sleep in any position!

I thought this was such a neat picture. That is exactly how I saw her under her toy friend.
